Gavin is here!

Finally, after 26 hours and a c~section, Gavin Aleksander Combs arrived on June 15, 2011 @ 10:45pm. He weighted a whopping 8 lbs 2 ozs, 21 inches long. Krista and Gavin are both doing great! So glad our 6th grandchild is here and happy & healthy!

Catherine, Gabbi, Erica, Sam, Kelsey B, Kelsey N, & Dana! did a fanatastic job with her shower! We had a blast celebrating the soon arrival of her son, and our grandson, Gavin. We've had a few scares in the past few weeks thinking he would arrive early. But here it is June 4th and he's still tucked away, getting bigger.

Pregnant & Beautiful...

Well, my baby i now 21 weeks pregnant with my grandson, Gavin Aleksander. She is so pretty pregnant and still so tiny...tipping the scale wednesday at a whopping 106. Doctor says Gavin's weigt and growth are perfect, but mommy needs t gain some weight! Ya hear that my daughter...eat! Quit stressin and eat!

The future....

Well, only about 3 weeks and we will finally have all our children, and grandchildren in the the same state, for a few weeks! Can't wait to see Aidan and finally get to see Miss Lydia! Long overdue. Gonna be getting all 5 of the grandbabies together for lots of pics and playtime, since mid~march Aidan & Lydia will be Germany bound for 3 yrs. Wish Gavin was already here so we could get all 6, but don't want him to come quite that early. These next few weeks are gonna be so much fun. Got just about all the birthday gifts bought and planning ne big grandbaby birthday party, easter egg hunt, well, everything rolled into one party...Hurry home! We are ready!

Well we now know for sure it's Gavin Aleksander.....i'm already loving this...welcome to our family my little one...

Overnighter with Ms. Addison...

Picked up Addi after work. We have'nt seen her in a couple of weeks, but when those little arms jump hold out to ya, it's like your heart just melts...had a great visit. It is back to the grindstone come morning...

Our day date....

Well i've finally figured out wat sundays are for...late lunch at applebee's, shopping, then home to watch alittle dexter, and play some wii....yeah, might sound boring to some...but spend it with the one you love, and there's just nothing any better....i love you, baby!

our adventure

We have our beautiful granddaughter Addison for the weekend...there is never a dull moment. She is such a good baby. We can't wait until the end of Feb. when Amanda, Shawn, Aidan & Lydia will be here. Then we will have all 5 grandkids together for alittle while. Then they are off to Germany for 3 years. We are also expecting a new grandbaby from my daughter Krista in June. This is what life is all about.

Made just a tiny error in the last blog. The blog was somehow dated jan 12. i did it at 3am on the 13th ..which i might add..is Lydia's Birthday. I do know the correct day and was on it. Don't know why it posted the 12th when it was already after midnight....oh well...no harm...Happy Birthday Lydia...both days!!

Today is Ms. Lydia Elise Kings very first birthday. How we wish we could spend it with her and the family. When they do get her next month we are going to celebrate everything with one giant party!! We love and miss you..Shawn, Amanda, Aidan & Lydia!!!
